Artistic mental health practitioner

Artistic spaces are filled with fantastical, brutal and weird stories encompassing the human experience. Sometimes embodying these stories takes additional support.

Trained by the Association of Mental Health Coordinators, the role of an Artistic Mental Health Practitioner is practical in supporting artists with difficult content on stage and set, as well as administrative work; like designing conflict resolution pathways and script assessments.

My scope of practice and skills includes:

  • Regulation Strategies

  • Salutogenic Standards

  • Understanding of Polyvagal Framework

  • Access Needs Coordination

  • Script Assessment

  • Content Note Writing and Support

  • Concern Resolution Pathway Creation and Assessment

  • Self Care Support and Burnout Prevention
